What does your shirt mean to you?
I’ve just been a big fan of Defeater for a couple of years now, so I like to rep it. They’ve influenced me as a musican.

How so?
Just the guitar playing, lyric wise… it’s super interesting what they do lyrically, writing all one big story; no one in hardcore does that, so it’s super cool.

Have you seen them live?
No, I was going to see them last year on Warped Tour but it didn’t work out. Hopefully soon.

Are you going to be that guy that wears the Defeater shirt to the Defeater show?
Maybe. We’ll see [laughs].
