What does your shirt mean to you?
Actually, it’s an original Cro-Mags shirt from an early show in New York. I got it online, but I was actually at this show and somebody was selling it online, so I picked it up because I have good memories from way back when.

So you were at that actual show?
Yeah, I was 18 at the time.

Do you remember getting any injuries at that show? Any stabbings?
No, just like most shows, lots of people grabbing you and some bruising on the arms. But, no, no stabbings… [laughs].

Well, maybe that was in their pre-stabbing era, so…
Yeah, they kind of got known for some pretty bad shit. I guess white supremacists would show up to their shows and just make a mess of things. But that was an awesome show.

Do you still get lots of compliments on the shirt?
The people who know who they are have always said something, but not a lot of people seem to know who the Cro-Mags are.
