When you go to Portland and you start to think of which breweries you’re going to visit, you will quickly become overwhelmed. There are a lot of breweries in that city. If you don’t believe me, maybe this number will prove it to you: in 2011 there were 40 breweries in the city, and I’m guessing that number has continued to increase. Instead of getting overwhelmed by the endless list of beer options, make sure your first beer stop is Cascade Brewing. This popular Portland brewery features a diverse list of sour beers. Some are slightly sour, like their ginger lime beer, and others border on having vinegar-like qualities.
