The Danzig Juicy Lucifuge… the Mother of all burgers

On March 16, 2015

Dish: The Juicy Lucifuge (photo: Chef John Hurkes)

Ingredients: New Jersey black-angus beef, blue-cheese Lucifuge, the onions of Christ, and blackest of the black BBQ sauce. Served on a house-made Twist of Pain bun.

Danzig-Lucifuge-7093Albums: Danzig‘s Danzig and Lucifuge - the killer metal masterpieces, howlin’ from the early 1990s.

Tasting notes: Start the legend with a burger, right? This black and blues burger is “Not of This World,” a coal-fired American metal blend of short rib, brisket, and Chuck roll. Whoa, oh! It’s got cheese that burns inside and if you don’t want to burn, just walk on by. The Twist of Pain bun, which is French for bread, was whipped together in a metal bowl and rises from the power of the beast with its “Soul on Fire.” The sweet twangs of the black BBQ sauce crash across the “Snakes of Christ” while killer guitar riffs rise up through the crispy, deep-fried onions. The legendary vocals of Glenn Danzig howl over the bluesy piquant of the sheep’s milk cheese like a “Killer Wolf” scratching at the cooking pans. This burger is the one you want. Add on some peanut butter and you’ve got an Evil Elvis burger. This classic metal meal is finished like the albums from 25 years ago; with just the perfect amount of “Evil Thing” and “Pain in the World.” It’s how the gods grill.

Is there a “black wing” chicken option? I don’t mind the beef but “nothin bites like I do”. Also, can I get a “diaphanous” shake with that. Wrap it in your house of ice cause I’ve had it melt more than once or twice. Please make it til the world’s align. This really does write itself. Lol.

All this Metal food stuff is a total rip off of Kumas in Chicago - where the idea originated.

Yes, hence why they’re the ones hypothetically suing.

Your names a rip off. Your moms a rip off. Quit being a dick. Kumas korner is great, but they’re definently not the first to relate any kind of metal with ground beef.
