It takes a pretty special band to go through the trouble of inserting French accents into website posts and Touché Amoré are that band. But, seriously, this Burbank, CA five-piece have quickly risen to the top of the hardcore heap, all the while staying true to their DIY roots by making the same kind of informed music industry choices as those bands that inspired them (we’re guessing Fugazi, Converge, Propagandhi…). Led by the blood-curdling screams of singer Jeremy Bolm, the band really came into their own on last year’s excellent Is Survived By on Deathwish Inc. Now, live, that’s a whole other story. Prepare to have your face and heart melted.
