Rockfest

We’re just days away from the ninth edition of Amnesia Rockfest in gorgeous Montebello, Quebec on June 20-21, and the anticipation is beginning to boil over (and not just because Cocksparrer and Venom will be in Canada for the first time in 20 years, which will surely be this Londoner’s highlight of the summer).
Each year since the festival’s inauguration has seen steady growth, and with the ridiculously juicy line up presented this year, expect that trend to continue.
The naysayers will tell you that last summer’s event had some problems, and it did, but by all accounts those should have been taken care of. That is to say, you’ll not have to dodge lakes of piss this time around.
Forget all that, anyway, what sort of punk complains about a wee bit of wee? There are more important things to consider here. Will there be drama between Black Flag and Henry Rollins? Or how about Danzig, Doyle and The Misfits? Or perhaps we’ll witness some form of legendary mini-reunions between the aforementioned warring factions!
Not bloody likely, but we can dream.
