As humans it’s like we have a duty to mess with perfection, and one victim of human ingenuity is the watermelon. Watermelons were pretty great already, except for that whole round thing they had going on. I mean, we couldn’t stack them nicely, but other than that was there a problem with the watermelon? Well, clearly there was, because a Chinese company recently created a square watermelon, which is essentially a watermelon that grew in a square mold. Whatever, who cares? Right? Well, things took a dramatic leap to the absurd when Vancouver Is Awesome reported that Urban Fare, a high-end grocery store that also sells $100 bottles of water, began selling the square watermelons at $200 a pop.
Vancouver Is Awesome is now reporting that Urban Fare is also offering the “poor man’s” watermelon, a.k.a. a good, old-fashioned watermelon. But those crazy guys at Fruit Mould who created the square watermelon are still doing weird and disturbing things to fruit of all kinds. One of the most terrifying examples of fruit abuse being perpetrated by Fruit Mould is their Buddha pear. I don’t know if these things look more like pears or albino babies.

If you haven’t had enough yet, maybe you want to buy a pair of panties or a thong for your peach? Because fruit need sexy underwear, too.

Oh my GOD!! Ridiculous! Seriously? Don’t get me started… And why are those peaches wearing thongs instead of low riding jeans and a plumber’s belt? Come on. No, really. Sexy peaches? We have to use sex to sell peaches now? I’m speechless.
