It’s always kind of cool when you come across a band you’ve never heard of before and they kick all kinds of ass.
So when Seattle melodic punk band Encourager contacted us recently about their forthcoming album, I Get a Kick Out of Jokes, due for release on August 7, we knew we needed to get a stream of the whole album going for y’all.
An ambitious eight songs, full of TV and movie references and sarcastic humour, not to mention the kind of melodic punk that makes bands like Iron Chic and Latterman so damn listenable, I Get a Kick Out of Jokes should get Encourager the kind of positive attention they deserve.
