He has songs with food in the lyrics, and in the titles, but Hamilton, Ontario’s B.A. Johnston manages to bring food into the soul of his music. While he’s gained a bit of a reputation for including fast food, hamburgers and steaks in his song lyrics, believe it or not he may be running out of fast-food song material.
This interview was filmed in Calgary, Alberta’s popular Vietnamese sub joint, ThaiTai during Sled Island Festival, where B.A. Johnston was scheduled to play three sets, and of course they ended with his signature bathroom encore.
