One of the best bands we saw last summer in a flurry of music festival coverage was Seattle rock legends Heart. Headlining at 2013’s Bumbershoot Festival in their hometown, the Wilson sisters and their esteemed band rocked out a set of their classic tunes, as well as a special set of Led Zeppelin covers with Jason Bonham.
When it was announced that they’d be playing a similar set in Victoria on June 29, 2014 and we finally came to terms with the fact that we wouldn’t be able to see them this time around, we knew we had to at least get photo evidence that the show was as amazing as we knew it would be.
By all accounts, Heart did it again, once again bringing Bonham with them for the Zep classics and finishing up their Canadian tour on Vancouver Island.
Victoria-based photographer Rob Porter was there to catch the Wilson sisters in all of their glory.
