We won’t take up anyone’s time with more Jawbreaker reunion talk; it’s already been heavily documented that the influential ’90s Bay Area melodic punk band are high on most underground music fans’ lists of groups who really need to get back together sometime soon.
But, for the time being, fans of the band can relish in some pretty cool activity on the band’s official Facebook page, run by former drummer Adam Pfahler. Besides writing a very entertaining Jawbreaker bio on the about page (see screenshots below) when he first set it up in 2009, and regularly posting old flyers and articles about the band, Pfahler has recently written a couple of nostalgia-ridden tour diary-type entries (also see screenshots below), one on September 2 and another one on September 8. If you haven’t read these newest entries yet and you’re a Jawbreaker fan, get to it.
And if you’re not a Jawbreaker fan, hopefully reading these will give some insight into one of the all-time best punk rock bands, and then you too can join all of the rest of us in the never ending Jawbreaker lament.
